Mahalakshmi Krishnan

Maha has trained extensively in Indian classical music from stalwarts in the field. Maha is a successful stage performer and playback singer, having worked with several music composers, and performed in over 500 stage shows. She has also made her foray into music composition with the original music video “Thee”, which has received rave reviews. In 2016, she was the music composer and director for Silambam’s annual dance production titled “Maya” – an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s dream. In August 2017, she along with Sandeep composed music for Silambam’s production Kavya – poetry in motion which received much appreciation for creatively blending different genres of music. She also runs a non-profit called Varasiddhi that strives to make a difference in people’s lives through musical initiatives. Recently, she partnered with the Shankar Mahadevan Academy Trust to raise funds for aged and struggling musicians in India. 

She has a Masters in Economics and an MBA in Marketing; she quit a successful corporate career to pursue her passion full time.

Sandeep Kumrouth

Sandeep started learning to play the harmonium at the age of 8. Soon, he forayed into piano and started performing LIVE in Mumbai. Teaching piano has been a vital part of his journey and he has trained over 300 students who have done extremely well in state and national level competitions. His insatiable passion made him delve deeper into music and he learnt programming and arrangement. He has composed and arranged many music albums – devotional and love themes in several languages including Marathi Hindi and Malayalam. He also got the opportunity to work with a few big banners like Sunshine productions, Balaji Telefilms, Sole Production, Nautanki films, Bagfilms, Rajanshahi Productions, Optimix and more. Madhubala serial bagged the Colors Golden Petal award for its music.

Ratipriya Shankar

Smt. R. Ratipriya is a disciple of Sangita Kalanidhi Smt.(Dr) R Vedavalli for the past 8 years. She is a professional musician and has been giving concerts all over India.
She has been learning music from the age of 4.  She was initiated into music by Smt. Chitra Vasudevan and then came under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Smt. R. Ramani, a top grade Veena Artiste of All India Radio.  Both of them are the disciples of Smt. R. Vedavalli and hence she has been groomed in the Mudikondan School throughout.
She has also completed the three years’ full time course in Manodharam Sangitham from Advanced School of Carnatic Music conducted by the esteemed The Music Academy, Madras wherein she was trained by various stalwarts.
She was graded the highest among the students consistently in all the semester exams by the external examiners.  She was awarded the Best outgoing student by the school and was a recipient of cash award given by The Music Academy, Madras.

She is at present a ‘B High grade’ Artiste of All India Radio, Chennai

Akshay Vardhave

Akshay Vardhave has Learnt Hindustani classical music for 14 years under the able guidance of Pt. Suhas Mahajan and 6 years under the Guidance of Pt. Arun Kashalkar.

He has conducted research on voice culture under Shreekant Ranade. He has also been a part of the All India Radio for the Coffee House show and interviewed for the Yuva Tarang show in 2017.

He is a recipient of numerous scholarships from Saguna Baug trust, Swar Sadhna Sameeti, and Dadar Matunga Cultural Center for Classical Khayal gayki.

He has also been invited by prestigious organizations to speak on topics such as Pasaydan, Dnyaneshwari, Mahabharat, Jogva, Bhagwat Geeta, Atharva sheesha.
